Miracles Today

Share
You know the saying how a picture says a thousand words?
Well, this blog post will be full of pictures to sum up the evening. So, last Saturday, The Burn went pretty much like this...

God always wants to heal the sick, but it is up to us to contend for the miracles. Some of the miracles that took place that night include:

  1.  An ankle with torn ligaments that hadn't healed properly gained increased mobility
  2. Very red and dry eczema on a hand was healed, leaving only a small red mark behind where the eczema had been
  3. Hay-fever (running nose/eyes) were instantly healed as we prayed together at the end of the evening.

As Christians, we have been given power through Christ to do above and beyond all comprehension. Back in the Bible times, Jesus healed the sick, opened blind eyes, opened deaf ears, healed the lame, raised the dead and etc. Since Christ now lives in each of our lives, we too have been granted the same power to do all that Christ did and more.

Moral of the story is: if we bother/ have faith to risk our ego and get down and pray for the sick, with no human guarantee they will be healed, God will do the miraculous and work through our steps of faith.

Moses didn't split the sea. He just raised his hand, and God did it.

Lets make it simpler to understand.

  1. We pray for the sick and believe they will be healed
  2. God heals the sick
  3. Both parties go home happy
The worst thing that can happen
  1. We pray for the sick
  2. Nothing happens
  3. The already sick person is still sick.
At the end of the day, we don't lose anything by trying. A number of those in our Church - KLCI, have gone out trying to heal the sick before. Sometimes people get healed, while other times they don't. Here's a video made some months ago. If you listen carefully you may understand what they're saying. But they're basically giving testimonies about how we ( the guys you see at The Burn on Saturdays, not some super big name preacher) prayed for the sick and people got healed etc.
