SNL!

"Saturday Night Live"
It was a long awaited sequel to an event we had two years ago. :) The event was in conjunction with KLCI's 5th birthday! What a day to celebrate :D

The venue was transformed into a restaurant setting. Tables with candlelight, and a beautifully decorated stage.

As our guests arrived, dressed in their best "smart" clothes, a lounge area was set up just outside the main hall where guests could mingle and chit chat over drinks :) We also set up a little "p area" where guests that come in, could have their picture taken if they'd like. And also a little guest list where people could sign their names and leave little notes etc. here are some pics:

Guests mingling in the lounge area :)

looking great ladies!

all the awesome guests looking their best.

Abby Joy excited to be there! Mommy and Daddy all smiles too :)

Guest list :)

After all the chit chatting and picture taking, dinner was served! Yumm, scrumptious :)

Our GREAT chef Jenny Loo!

Dig in everyoneeee!

Later on, after all the happy tummies were satisfied, everyone sat down and watched some videos. We had a video put together by Jono, containing pictures of our KLCI family over the last 5 years :)
And then, just for laughs Shaun played us a funny video about a man who goes into, um the Subway? well, a train lah. :) and he starts laughing 'hoping' the rest of the train starts laughing too :D so the whole video is just people laughing. But it is contagious, and you won't find someone frowning in the room :) wheee

We then came to that time of the night, where everyone was waiting to be entertained with our live bands :)
They entertained us with a total of 3 sets :)

Ryan and Mike, playing some 'lounge' music while guests dine :)

And here we have the Jared's. With the first set :) They performed some well known tunes. Including Michael Buble's "I just haven't met You yet".

And here, we have Jono and the "Jared's" again with the second set :) They belted some tunes including a song by Josh Groban (I can't remember the name of the song now) :P
Also included in their repertoire, was a Disney song from the hit cartoon (some years back) "Go the Distance". Made famous from a childhood favorite Hercules :)

After the second set, we had two special people share their testimonies.
In the picture above, is Alvin Lim :) He shared of the day he got saved when God had healed him of his constant daily struggle with migraines. Yay :D

And this, is Shelly :P Her real name is Michele. But I don't think many people call her that. heeh ;) she shared of her struggle to believe that God loved or cared for her. She had been a Christian her whole life. She chose to stop going to church at the age of 18. But as years passed, she started seeing incredible breakthrough in her life. Including the story of her Mom battling with cancer. Such incredible miracles started to take place in her life. You'll have to come to Burn soon to hear the stories. Shelly would love to share them with you, she likes talking ;)

After the testimonies, we had our final set for the night :) It was a full band, with full on fun upbeat tunes!!

The KLCI Band! Woot!

Everyone started getting groovy on the dance floor!

And goofy tooo! ;D

The night ended off with the band singing Happy Birthday :)

Happy Birthday KLCI!!
And a job well done to the SNL team. Musos, the Chef and Decor people :)
It was a splendid evening.
