Christmas Bash 2010

Share
Ladies and Gents,

Last week, instead of having our usual Burn meeting, we had a combined event for the whole church ( and other) - The Christmas Bash, where we din't really bash anything.

It was essentially a night to bring your food, eat, enjoy fellowship, sing carols and exchange gifts. Our fantastic Decor team beautifully transformed our church venue into a restaurant/stable/ happening place to be.

As described/proposed/ hinted in the event invitation, guests were supposed to come dressed as their favorite Christmas character, or at least wear something either green or red.

The honest truth is that pretty much all of us came in whatever we could find. I mean, I came in a green shirt with a red shirt on my head hoping to look like a Shepherd! ( not my favorite ) About 80% of everyone came as Reindeers! That can't possibly be their favorite right?

Well, Shaun came dressed as an awesome shepherd, and donated his sheep to Shelly who made some  Shepherds pie to go with all the other great food :)

Anyway, who wants to hear all this. Pictures time.

Are these Costumes cool or what? In case you don't know, the freaky looking guys is a Christmas character.

Obviously Ryan isn't quite as slim.

Most of the band playing their awesome Carols. Their Drummerboy ( song ) was awesome. So was the drummer lah. haha. Great job guys.

And finally, I have.. some older folk. - Martin

Caught on Camera!

Yea, well, these two are married now so, they come under older folk too!

Okay, if I keep posting pictures here, I'm gonna use up all our free storage on the Blog so.. Unfortunately, nobody actually took good pictures of the good food. Or maybe they did, but I don't see it.

Also, did I mention the Christmas Carols were awesome? Well they really were. We also managed a guest appearance from world famous Junji Delfino! She did an impromptu performance for us.

Thats all folks!

Fine, just a few more pictures of people tryna fit the color description

It was just a very relaxed party! Shaun prayed for the food and that was about as Spiritual as it was. haha.
Don't miss out on our other events!

  1. Hey boys - why do you insist on making me look so old? Just coz you're proficient with photoshop now... you must have gone to a lot of bother!
