T&T Revamped

Thats right folks!

As of our last Takeaway and Tunes onwards, we'll be taking Takeaways and Tunes to a new level. T&T will now be a place for local music talent to gain exposure and some recognition. We will be having more guest artists, instead of the same old boring Jared Lim perform. Oops!

Last week at The Burn for example, we had some new, rather well known faces in the Malaysian Music industry join us. Some of those include Bo Amir Iqram, whose photo you'll see shortly, and Melinda Wong, who unfortunately did no play for us, but just might in the future.


Anyway, I personally thought that this was the best Takeaways and Tunes. All the sets, performed by Jared Locke, Jared Lim, Darren Ashley, and Bo, were fantastic.

Jared Locke blew us away with his ever so mighty voice. He also played a new song he wrote called "The Step." I'll try to find a link to his video.. I know I saw it somewhere. EDIT: its here 

The problem with having J.Lo as our photographer is that, no One really takes any pictures of him performing, so this was it. 

Then we had Jared Lim, who also wrote a new song with no name, to add to his other nameless songs.

For the record, that was a joke earlier about being bored of listening to this guy's songs. If you haven't already, go become a fan of his ban called the Dags.

Next we had Darren, - drummer from buscomapy, and solo artist dude who can speak Thai. He has performed here once or twice before.

He did some awesome vocal kung-fu moves on the mike.

Finally we had Bo. Famous for his big hair and cool music. I don't really know him so I won't say anything about him.

And finally, this post would not be complete without a picture of Shaun, who just got back from Africa! Welcome back.
